The Spring School in Analysis and Mathematical Physics will be held October 14-22, 2019 at the Faculty of Mathematics of the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, in the city of Santiago, Chile.
The school invites applications from master's students and advanced undergraduates who are interested in pursuing doctoral studies in the areas of Analysis and Mathematical Physics. Its purpose is to introduce participants to recent research trends in these two general areas, immersing them in the vibrant academic and research environment of the Department of Mathematics at Universidad Católica (UC).
The program of the school includes four mini-courses, each with three lectures and review sessions. In addition, there will be talks on topics of current research interest, delivered by members of the UC community.
Limited financial aid for travel and local expenses will be offered to participants from abroad and from outside Santiago.
